Who We Are
Manyu Solidarity Group UK is an Unincorporated Association founded in March 2021 by members of the Manyu community in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It is an apolitical and non-profit association with membership open to sons and daughters of Manyu, and those associated with the region by marriage and residency. Manyu is a region in the Cameroons (see a brief history of Manyu). It is a member-funded association that intends to provide a forum for members to consider, debate and continue personal and professional development.
The association seeks to create a thriving and vibrant Manyu community in the UK:
To enable and encourage Manyu people to share their professional knowledge.
To provide a platform for Manyu children to interact and thrive in a fast-changing world.
To work to complement all existing Manyu cultural groups in the UK.
To provide opportunities to promote personal and professional development to our members.
To contribute to improving the health and well-being of Manyu people residing in the UK.
To enhance the employability skills and prospects of Manyu people in the UK.
To advertise and support businesses in the UK owned by Manyu people, their partners, and children.
